"Comrades at the 80th Anton Dörner Birthday.
In thousands of socialist enterprises honored on 13th October the workers their activists. Yesterday, 14 October, was now an opportunity, an old activist of the workers' movement on his 80th Birthday.
Comrade Anton Dörner comes a glass grinder family, in the [18] 80s from the 'donor' [forest village, district Glatz] to white water settled. The concern for the eight family remained mother and the 16 years Anton, the oldest of the children, leave. A few years later, Anton works in one of the new Proletarierzentren in Westphalia. This and the harassment during the military period in Metz, the school of life, the young people formed. When he then returned home, he was one of the men when they 'red Whitewater' made.
The capitalist entrepreneurship took vengeance on the eager Agitator, threw him on the street and put him on the black list. In just consumer association was formed him but the workers of an - albeit modest - existence. He belonged to the 1903 founders of the local group of the Socialist electoral association. The workforce familiar to him manifold functions in party and trade union and transferred him after 1920, the representation of its interests in the city and district.
Comrade Anton Dörner now spends his evening of life in the household of his son. His health condition allows lately to be desired, but his mental activity is not affected. The political events he remains with the utmost sympathy.
We wish the comrades Anton Dörner that it is still quite a long opportunity, the march of the German workforce in a better future and to experience the fruits of socialist construction to enjoy themselves.
